Missions: one phrase in, a checklist out

A mission is Musse Buddy's unit of work. You say or type one request, Buddy sorts it into a kind such as reminder, message or booking, writes the steps, runs the ones that live on your iPhone and pauses where you must approve. You see status, steps and the result in one list.

Missions: one phrase in, a checklist out

What kinds of missions can Buddy run?

The app recognizes twelve kinds. Each has its own steps and its own real action on the phone.

How do I give Buddy a request?

The same request can start from Siri, a widget quick action or CarPlay. Each mission keeps a tag showing where it came from. See CarPlay and Siri and widgets.

  1. Open the Buddy tab and hold the talk button, or type in the box that says Tell Buddy a task.
  2. Release to send. Buddy replies and creates the mission.
  3. Open the mission to see the steps. A step marked Needs your OK waits for you.
  4. Tap Yes, do it, or Change, or Cancel mission. When the work is done, the mission moves to Done.

What does Buddy do on its own, and what does it ask about?

Each connection has three levels: Off, Ask me and Allow. The connections are email, calendar, contacts, web browsing and notes. Calendar, contacts, web and notes start on Allow. Email starts on Ask me, because mail is sent in your name.

If a mission needs something that is Off, it stops with a message such as "Calendar is off" and a button to turn it on. You decide the rules on the Agent and trust screen, under Me.

Buddy prepares the order and you pay. The app has no payment feature.

What really happens on the phone?

Actions are real, not simulated. Reminders become iOS notifications. Calendar entries are written through the iPhone calendar, only for missions you asked for. Contacts are searched on the device when you ask to call or write someone, and they stay on the iPhone. Texts and emails open as a prepared draft in Messages or your mail app, and nothing leaves until you press Send.

Web tasks open a prepared search link. Buddy does not log in to sites for you and does not fill a payment form.

How does Buddy understand the request?

A parser built into the app reads the phrase, picks the kind and builds the steps. The app can also ask an AI model on a server for a better reading when a server address is configured. If the server does not answer within eight seconds, the app falls back to the local parser without an error. What leaves the phone in that case is described in the privacy policy.

How many missions are free?

The free version includes 10 missions. The home screen shows how many are left. Buddy+ removes the limit. Finished missions also earn treats for your pet, which is how the agent and pet care connect.

Frequently asked questions

Can Musse Buddy book a table or an appointment for me?

It prepares the booking: checks your calendar, adds a placeholder and opens a search for the place. You pick the slot and confirm it yourself.

Will Buddy text people without asking?

No. It opens a draft in Messages or your mail app and waits. Nothing is sent until you press Send.

Can I cancel a mission?

Yes. Open it and tap Cancel mission, or tap Change to edit it first.

What if I turn off calendar access?

Missions that need the calendar stop and say it is off, with a button to turn it back on. Other missions keep working.

Can I type instead of talking?

Yes. Every screen with the talk button also has a text box.
